Wade T. Williams
SVP, Business Development
Wade Williams serves as Senior Vice President for Northern Kentucky Tri-County Economic Development Corporation (Tri-ED), the regional economic development organization representing Boone, Campbell and Kenton counties in Northern Kentucky. Wade joined the organization in December 2011 after serving for 10+ years at Duke Energy managing the business operations within the OH/KY President’s Office and large complex real estate acquisition projects. His responsibilities include overseeing the marketing/attracting of new industries to the Northern Kentucky area as well managing the robust business retention & expansion program. Wade also assists with day-to-day operations of the entire organization and regularly contributes to the real estate and workforce strategies related to economic development.
Wade earned Bachelor and Master Degrees in Public Administration from Northern Kentucky University. A strong advocate of community service, Wade has volunteered for countless leadership and community boards and committees. A 2005 Leadership Northern Kentucky graduate, a member of the NKU Alumni board and currently is a member of the Boone County Success by 6 Initiative. Wade and his wife Kara reside in Northern Kentucky with their two daughters Nora & Bryn.
Wade’s favorite place in NKY is Knotty Pine on the Bayou in Cold Spring, which offers authentic Louisiana Cajun and Creole specialties.
